EMS, and their agent BiMetal Japan, spent 3 days at the Battery Japan Tradeshow at the beginning of March. Their booth, which was staffed with up to as many as 7 employees at a time, was visited by numerous major OEM Managers and subcontractors in the Battery and Automotive industries. They were the only clad manufacturer to exhibit at the show.

It turned out to be a great opportunity and EMS met with customers from China, Taiwan, and South Korea who inquired about Corelok, SigmaClad, and Copper Nickel alloys for Lithium Ion batteries. It was their first time exhibiting at the show, which was a major success, and will return in the future.

Although local staff traveled far, Japan offered many comforts of home. Just outside the hotel was a view of Lady Liberty herself (as shown above).
