EMS China has installed a new Strand Annealing Line in the Baoying facility. The furnace is designed to anneal Thermostatic Bimetal strip up to 350mm wide and gauges from 0.2mm to 1.6mm. The line runs with a hydrogen/nitrogen atmosphere to prevent oxidation.

The furnace will allow EMSC to perform full service center processing from bonded coils imported from EMS US. This change will allow shorter lead times and greater flexibility for customers in Asia. EMS China provides Thermostatic Bimetal to customers throughout Asia in the form of strip, stamped parts and spiral wound coils.
