Earlier this year, EMS donated clad material to the Caltech Racing Team. They water jetted, stamped, and tumbled busbars made from EMS Clad material to use in their battery pack. They noted that the material stamped, welded, and de-burred very well, and was a huge improvement over the thick square busbars from the previous year.

Poly eRacing was at the Formula E and took place in downtown Montreal over July 29th and 30th. It was the first big event of the year where they showcased their new prototype. Many visitors and members of the press came to their booth and asked technical questions about their battery pack, which was constructed with the clad material that EMS donated.
