Position Title: Rolling Mill Operator
Reports to: Mfg Supervisor
Salary Information: Hourly
Shift: Nights
Position Summary:
Set up and operate a variety of ZR rolling mills and metal forming machines, working with close tolerances. Check and order material and work from route cards and schedules. Use a variety of precision measuring tools to perform in-process inspection and check incoming material to meet required standards.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate a variety of rolling mills.
Work with very close tolerances from route cards
Maintain equipment, tools and work area in a clean and orderly matter.
Use shop math, use micrometer, gauges, and samples.
Requirements:
High School or Equivalency Diploma
Must be able to read and write English
Experience operating related equipment
Knowledge of forming and rolling quality of metal
Lifting up to 40 lbs and standing up to 80% of the time
Environment:
Mfg environment
High noise, High dust, dirt, grease
Exposure to temperature over 90 degrees 20% of time
